Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument

The perfect day trip.

Just 5 ladies, backpacks and tons of excited squealing.

If you have the energy, hiking the whole trail is extremely worth the effort, as well as the incredible view at the top. Just an hour from Albuquerque – Tent Rocks starts to look like another world as you make your way through the twists and turns inside the canyon.

Famous for its cone-shaped formations formed by volcanic eruptions 6-7 million years ago, Tent Rocks has a great combination of natural wonder, flora and fauna.
